Solarfox Easy Startup
The Solarfox® Setup-Assistent guarantees a simple and fast setup.
The setup of Solarfox displays can be done in few steps! After a monitoring system (i.e. from Solar-Log™ or SMA Webbox) is installed to your photovoltaic system and is in operation, a Solarfox display can be installed in just a few steps.
The essential steps for setup:
1) Installation of the Solarfox-Display on the desired wall or pedestal.
2) Connection of power and Internet (LAN, Wifi, UMTS)
3) Connection of a USB keyboard and starting the Assistant.
4) Network configuration (IP-Address, Gateway, etc.)
5) Entering your Solarfox username and Password after Omline-registration
6) Removal od keyboard and Start the presentation
Solarfox Setup Assistent
Each Solarfox display has a comfortable and easy to use Setup Wizard. This helps you to start and set up your display. You are led, step by step through the configuration menu. In this way, the Solarfox display can be configured within minutes and put into operation. When in the setup menu enter your network information, your user name and password.
To start you only need the display at the desired location and the cables connected (power & network). Then connect a standard USB keyboard and the Setup Wizard will start.
Once the setup wizard is complete and the Solarfox computer has retrieved all necessary data the keyboard can be removed. The Solarfox display is now operational and will show the performance of your photovoltaic system.
