Sungrow solar monitoring
The Sungrow inverters of the Sungrow series have an integrated data logger. To register an iSolarcloud account, select the appropriate server for Australia, enter your email address, verify it with a code, and accept the privacy policy. The performance data of the photovoltaic system can be transmitted via the Internet to the Sungrow portal. Solarfox is able to retrieve the data simultaneously and visualise it on a large photovoltaic display from Solarfox.
With Sungrow, system operators and installers have access to the most important data of their photovoltaic system at any time. When it comes to analysing measured values or visualising yields, the Sungrow series leaves almost nothing to be desired. The iSolarCloud app can be used to connect the inverter to WiFi and manage the connection, offering a user-friendly interface for monitoring and operating photovoltaic energy systems. The app also supports advanced functionalities of the energy storage system, enhancing the overall efficiency and management of the photovoltaic plant. Additionally, the integration of a storage system allows for comprehensive monitoring of energy consumption and production.
Solar displays can retrieve the data from the Sungrow portal and are therefore compatible with all components. For the use of a photovoltaic display to illustrate energy data, only an Internet connection is required on site. The system is thus compatible with any photovoltaic system with inverters or components from Sungrow, the only requirement being an Internet connection via LAN or WIFI. This has the advantage that you do not need any direct cabling between the inverter or monitoring components and the large solar displays. This gives you maximum flexibility to select any location for the solar display installation

Communication between Sungrow web portal and Solarfox display
The inverter converts the solar energy into alternating current (solar power). Utilizing a solar monitoring app like the Sungrow iSolarCloud optimizes energy production and enhances system safety by setting up fault alarms and monitoring system health. Sungrow boasts the largest dedicated R&D team in the solar inverter industry, emphasizing their strong commitment to innovation and development within the renewable energy sector.
The yielded information is transferred directly from the inverter or monitoring component to the Internet. After a Solarfox online account has been created, the Solarfox® web server accesses the data in the Sungrow Portal and generates a slideshow which you can configure individually via web browser. The Solarfox® display retrieves the data from the web server via the Internet and displays the data in an attractive visual slideshow. For this purpose, the Solarfox display only needs to retrieve data via the Internet through port 80, making it compatible with residential applications.
